Yes. All Imperium hot tub covers are built with high-density foam cores manufactured in Ontario and engineered specifically for harsh Canadian winters. Our insulated, tapered designs help lock in heat, reduce energy loss, and support snow load so you can enjoy your spa all year long, even in below-freezing temperatures.

4. Which hot tub cover configuration is best for harsh cold climates?

For cold Canadian climates with snow and wind, we typically recommend a 5"–3" tapered foam hot tub cover. 6. What materials are used in your premium replacement spa covers?

Our premium replacement hot tub covers use high-density EPS foam cores as standard in every configuration for strong insulation. Each foam core is wrapped in 3–6 mm polyethylene (PE) vapour barrier for added water resistance and insulation, based on the build you choose. For the exterior, you can select either our 1000D Duratex polyester fabric or marine-grade vinyl, both designed for Canadian weather and long-term outdoor use.

7. Are your hot tub covers compatible with all major hot tub brands and models?

Yes. Our custom-fit hot tub covers are compatible with all major hot tub and spa brands and models sold in Canada. 8. How do I choose between a standard hot tub cover vs. a custom hot tub cover?

If your hot tub dimensions are within 2" of one of our in-stock cover sizes, you can choose a ready-to-ship standard hot tub cover here. This is a fast, cost-effective option.
