Imperium Shipping Policy

Shipping Costs

Free standard shipping anywhere in Canada (most regions).

For remote, rural, or northern locations where freight costs run higher than our standard rate, a member of our team will contact you within 2 business days of placing your order to review any potential shipping surcharge before your cover ships. Imperium absorbs a portion of the freight cost on most of these orders. You'll always have the option to proceed or cancel for a full refund at this stage if you'd prefer not to continue.

Processing Times

- Ready-to-Ship Covers: Dispatched from our Ontario facility within 5-7 business days of order placement.
- Custom Covers: Production timeline is confirmed with you during your quote, based on the current build queue and your cover specifications. Estimated production times are 2-3 weeks on average. 

Delivery Times

Hot tub covers ship via freight carrier from Ontario. Once dispatched, transit times vary by region:

- Southern Ontario, Quebec: 2-4 business days
- Western Canada (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba): 5-9 business days
- Atlantic Canada (NB, NS, PEI, NL): 6-10 business days
- Northern and remote locations: 10-21 business days

These ranges reflect typical freight transit. Weather, road conditions, and freight network capacity can extend transit during winter months and peak periods.

Tracking

You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your cover ships. Because hot tub covers ship via freight carrier (not parcel), the carrier typically calls to schedule curbside delivery.

What to Expect at Delivery

- Most deliveries are curbside (you bring the cover from the truck to your tub).
- Inspect the cover before signing — note any visible damage on the delivery slip.
- If your cover arrives damaged, photograph the packaging and the damage, then email support@imperiumcovers.com within 48 hours of delivery. This window is required to meet freight carrier claim deadlines (see our Refund Policy for full damage reporting requirements).

International Shipping

We currently ship within Canada only. US shipping is on our roadmap and will be added soon. International orders outside North America are not available at this time.
