“Starting at” pricing is common in this category, where the advertised price doesn’t always reflect what you pay at checkout once configurator add-ons are selected. We took a different approach with Imperium.
By the time you’ve added the upgrades that should arguably be standard on a premium cover, you’re paying significantly more than the advertised price.
We didn’t want to build Imperium that way. So we didn’t.
What’s Included in Every Imperium Cover
Every cover (custom or ready-to-ship ) ships with the following as standard. No upgrades. No add-ons. No surprises at checkout.
- Heavy-duty marine-grade vinyl exterior (UV-resistant, mildew-resistant)
- High-density EPS foam core (premium density, not entry-level)
- Heat-sealed vapor barrier
- Double-stitched reinforced seams
- Four locking safety straps with hardware
- Reinforced lift handles on both sides
- Full-perimeter skirt
- 5-to-3-inch tapered design for snow and rain runoff
- 3-year limited warranty (not pro-rated)
How Our Pricing Compares
Pricing in this category often uses a “base price plus upgrades” model, where features many buyers expect on a premium cover are sold as add-ons. We chose a different approach.
At Imperium, every cover ships with the premium materials and features included. The price you see is the price you pay.
What you typically pay extra for elsewhere (included with Imperium:
- Premium foam core ) usually an upgrade fee. Included at Imperium.
- Insulated hinge, usually an upgrade fee. Included at Imperium.
- Sealed vapor barrier, usually an upgrade fee. Included at Imperium.
- Heavy-duty handles, usually an upgrade fee. Included at Imperium.
- Full-perimeter skirt, often optional. Included at Imperium.
- 3-year warranty, often pro-rated in this category. Included at Imperium, no pro-rated math.
Why We Built It This Way
We started Imperium because we believe premium materials shouldn’t be optional on a premium product. A cover that lasts in Canadian winters needs heavy-duty marine vinyl, a real vapor seal, and high-density foam, not as upgrades, but as standard.
Insulation that performs, a vapor seal that prevents waterlogging, reinforced handles, full-perimeter skirt, these are all standard on every Imperium cover.
So we include them all. By default. In every cover. One price.
